Felt compelled to try this out today. The song that plays during the pit wall climb in The Dark Knight Rises is my favorite track, and even though there are dozens of instruments playing many layers of notes, I just had to try out a stripped down piano version of it. I guess this is my attempt at a variation on Hans Zimmer’s beautiful score. Really wish I could sit at a piano with him and be inspired.
I got a little sloppy in the middle of the song, but I think it turned out ok.
