Malukah is at it again. This is her new tribute song for the Mass Effect games. Clint Mansell’s compositions for the third game in the series added an extra level of gravitas, and it’s great to hear Malukah’s voice interpreting the emotions I felt while fighting the reapers.
Watching Black Swan for the second time tonight has convinced me that it is one of my three favorite movies of the year along with Winter’s Bone and The Social Network.
It was perfect.
This movie perfectly captures how I feel when I think about the vast expanse of space that is out there. How is it that I, an infinitesimal creature in the grand scheme of all that exists, can suffer from the delusion that I am important? What is it that gives us humans this notion that we have intrinsic value? Is it just about the people we surround ourselves with in order to not feel so alone?
